About Dave's Wooden Toys
Dave began building toys in 1991 to expand the tradition started by his father. Over the years the variety of toys has exceeded 30 different versions, with the majority being trucks. The toys are designed to withstand play by the young. Considerable attention is given to make the toys sturdy and safe.

Dave makes his toys from pine and basswood, except for the wheels. The wheels and accessories are purchased. The toys are well sanded and many are stained in Golden Oak. Painted toys are indicated in the Product List. Cabs for the 18-wheeler model and the smaller trucks are made from 2x4’s.
